Three day stone carving course for all abilities
Come and discover your hidden talent at stone carving.
Course entails:
- 9.30am start at;
Caudwells Mill,
Rowsley,
Matlock,
DE4 2EB
- Three days of carving, identification of stone types, and tool skills.
- A choice of drawing and carving letters into stone or designing your own small sculpture
- A £5 voucher will be given to each participant to spend in the café each day and there will be a free tea or filter coffee each morning
If you have an idea of what you would like to carve please bring some ideas so I can get you set up as soon as possible if your not sure, don't worry as I will have material you can find inspiration from!
You will finish the course with at least one carved item of stone and a certificate to say you have completed the course
A deposit of £100 to be paid to secure a place on the course desired, then the other £100 to be paid up to 1 week before the course is to take place
