Stonemasons in Derbyshire
R.M. Eaton Stonemasonry has been established since 1988. Proprietor, Mark Eaton has over 29 years experience and leads a dedicated team of skilled masons. We are a family run company in the heart of Derbyshire and specialise in bespoke Derbyshire gritstone commissions and also in skilled restoration of beautiful stone houses.
On-going work with listed properties of historic interest include; Haddon Hall Estate in Bakewell, church work including work on Pugin’s prestigious St Mary’s Church, Derby, Breadsall Priory Marriott hotel and maintenance programmes with several local Halls.
Often recommended by the Peak Park Conservation team, Mark has experience of dealing with the conservation issues that often arise with restoring Historic buildings and he will liaise with conservation officers giving clients the peace of mind that he will use his judgement and experience to achieve a standard of work that is second to none. We select, mason and fix the stone ourselves, which provides continuity and quality control throughout the process. Advice can be given on all aspects of projects, from consultancy and design through to fixing. We are also able to put together a cleaning programme for internal and external facades.
RM Eaton contracts it's own health and safety officer and operatives are IPAF and PASMA certificated.
As seen on Great British Railway Journeys with Michael Portillo_ Series 1 Episode 16, on his journey from Buxton to Rowsley
